Limited Edition Special Camps Hats are HERE!
Kake Gallery and Kake Multimedia have teamed up with Special Camps to create the mascot for their 25th anniversary summer. This summer’s theme is LEPRECHAUNS and COWBOYS. What ties these two crazy characters together? GOLD of course! We’ve created a very limited number of hats commemorating this new mascot who will be leading the campers on horse trail adventures and gold mining trips this summer!
Hat quantities are limited to only 10 in each color, and $5.00 from every purchase goes directly to sponsor a summer camp experience for an individual with special needs.

Matt Ferguson and Florey’s – INTO THE SPIDERVERSE
So we’re not a movie review site… BUT… If you haven’t gotten out to see the new Marvel Spiderman movie, “INTO THE SPIDERVERSE”, you’re REALLY missing out. I took my son and I’m really not sure which one of us enjoyed it more. It’s pretty visually spectacular, and the storyline has something for everybody.

Eric Tan The Last Jedi – Today at Bottleneck!
The folks over at Bottleneck Gallery just announced another Eric Tan limited and licensed Star Wars release today at 12:00pm Eastern Time. That’s in about an hour and a half so set your timers. There will be two 12×36 prints available, and while they’re both awesome… i’d have to lean towards the Jedi if I had to pick a favorite.
As stated in the BNG release, “Eric Tan has been working his way through the main Star Wars film canon, creating pieces for each movie, and we’re proud to present his latest prints for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi! Eric’s banner-esque prints are sleek and feature his trademark stylized representations of memorable elements from both films.”

R.I.P. Stan Lee (1922-2018)
It is with an immense amount of sadness today that we have learned of the passing of creative icon, Stan Lee. The universe, both Marvel… AND even DC… will not be the same without him. To say that Stan was an influence, and in many cases a hero to many of my peers, and via spirit to children, comic book fans, and super-hero believers around the world, would be an incredible understatement. In addition to Stan’s contribution to the Marvel Universe empire, Stan was a humanitarian known for his speaking out in support of literacy, and also against Anti-Semitism. R.I.P. Stan. Your contribution to the world will be remembered as long as humanity continues to believe in acts of HEROISM. (more…)
